General Information

The International Olympic Committee, along with the Organising Committee of the IOC World Conference on Prevention of Injury & Illness in Sport, was and is closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and, unfortunately, the situation throughout 2020 called for a further postponement of the conference, which was originally scheduled to take place from 12 to 14 March 2020, and was then initially rescheduled to take place from 11 to 13 February 2021.

The conference will take place in Monaco at the Grimaldi Forum from 25 to 27 November 2021.

The conference will be held as an in-person event. Information regarding the applicable health and safety measures will be posted in due course on the conference website.

If you agreed to be a chair or a speaker for the February 2021 conference, you will be contacted in due course to renew the acceptance of this role.

In addition, chairs of symposia and head-to-head debates and keynote speakers will be contacted in due course with instructions on how to revise the content, if needed. Major changes will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee for approval.
